ABSTRACT
Sternal neoplasms are very uncommon. The lack of consistent reports in the literature renders it difficult to make prospective evaluations. The authors report the case of a seventy-year old woman who presented with a chondrosarcoma of the sternum, treated at their service.
RESUMO
As neoplasias do esterno são patologias extremamente raras. A falta de grandes séries na literatura faz com que avaliações prospectivas de tratamento sejam muito difíceis. Relata-se o caso de uma paciente septagenária possuidora de um grande condrossarcoma de esterno, tratada cirurgicamente.
